Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) to provide compassionate, in-home care under a nurse's direction. Training is available for qualified candidates, with a focus on helping clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

CHHA/HHA credentials in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing are preferred. Open enrollment for training and flexible scheduling are offered, with interviews available virtually or in person.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred but training may be available.
• Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
• Willing to work day/evening/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care based on a written plan of care.
• Bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Dressing and personal hygiene support.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Bed making and other household tasks.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working independently with clients

Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome, but not always required. Training may be available for qualified candidates.

For Experienced CHHAs

Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have:

• A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
