New Bern Auto Group seeks Chevrolet technicians to join our growing team. We offer sign-on bonuses, training, and a great working environment.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, test-driving, diagnosing systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor. ASE certification is ideal, with a clean driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal and helpful.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Teamwork skills essential and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to determine issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate estimated time and needed additional repairs to Service Advisor.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
