About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

• TheChess ClubAdvisor would organize and runchess clubmeetings. and communicate with parents. The advisor helps to set up competitive matchups within the students who are in thechess cluband go over basic strategies.

Start date:October 1, 2026.

Schedule:1-2 Meeting a week. 8 sessions total. Meetings are after school and go from 3:05 pm - 4:10 pm.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience coaching or participation inteam-building, time management, and Instant Challenges.

Stipend: $250.00,according totheClubs Group of Schedule C of theCertified Master Contract 2025-2027 .

Benefits:No benefit eligibilty, other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
