Job description

Full-Time Respiratory Therapist
Location: Keene, NH
Employment Type: Full-Time Days or Nights
Pay Range: $38 - $48

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a key member of the clinical staff, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
-Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
-Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation management.
-Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions, including equipment use and home care instructions.
-Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of respiratory equipment.
-Respond promptly to emergency situations such as codes or rapid response events.
-Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress in compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications:
-Licensure/Certification: Must be a licensed or registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) in NH.
-Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
-Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
-Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred).
