Job summary
Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Handler to support the Pick & Pack area in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
The role involves operating cherry pickers, counterbalance and reach trucks to pick, stage, and ship items from multi-level racks, ensuring accurate labeling and timely loading. Candidates should have 1–3 years of related experience, strong English communication, and a proven customer-service mindset.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- One to three years of experience operating order picker/cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick product from multi-level racks and stage, load and unload shipments to and from trailers, containers, and/or designated areas safely using a cherry picker, counterbalance and reach truck.
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
- Transport product to and from designated areas as directed.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, label pallets accurately and stage for shipping as scheduled.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and safety requirements.
