ProStaff Workforce Solutions is hiring a Cherry Picker Operator in South River, NJ, to support a growing logistics operation. The role involves operating a cherry picker and sit-down forklift, with duties spanning warehouse and dock activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift and warehouse experience, can work at heights, and is flexible to assist with various tasks. This temp-to-hire position pays $20/hour and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with some early starts.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience operating a cherry picker required; must be comfortable working at heights.
• Experience operating stand-up and/or turret forklifts is a plus.
• Warehouse and dock experience preferred. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and performing a variety of tasks.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to work a full-time schedule, with occasional early starts at 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker and work at elevated heights to retrieve, move, and organize materials.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Move, stack, organize, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick orders, stage products, and assist with packing as needed.
• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments.
• Support dock operations, including order consolidation, unloading trucks, and unloading floor-loaded containers.
• Perform general warehouse duties and assist in other areas as business needs require.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

We are hiring a Cherry Picker Operator for a growing logistics and distribution company in South River, NJ. This is a great opportunity for someone with forklift and warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating a cherry picker, working at elevated heights, and performing a variety of warehouse and dock duties. While the primary responsibility is operating a sit-down forklift, this role also requires flexibility to assist with warehouse and shipping operations as needed.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional early starts at 7:30 AM may be required)
