Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a PIT operator (Cherry Picker, stand-up reach truck) in Romeoville, IL to safely operate warehouse equipment and support order fulfillment. You will handle materials per MO instructions, label and package products, and maintain an organized warehouse environment.

The role requires experience with forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, SAP, and RF scanners, plus the ability to lift 50 pounds. Typical shift is 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with contract-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• Two years forklift experience, including stand-up and reach trucks.
• Experience operating cherry pickers and reach lifts in a warehouse.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience with SAP and RF scanners for inventory.
• Knowledge of MO instructions and packaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker, stand-up forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack.
• Verify parts against MO documents and quantities.
• Label products per specifications and customer requirements.
• Package, box, and palletize with proper labeling.
• Support packing, shipping, and related documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean workspace.
• Maintain a 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule.
