Carparts.com is seeking PIT Operators to move inventory via picking, consolidations, and put-away. You will operate cherry pickers and stock movers to support customer service goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks – stock/cherry picker.
• Complete order picker checklists and verify pallet on forks.
• Maintain battery level above 25%.
• Ensure safety harness and lanyard are in good condition.
• Pallets from staging areas and store correctly.
• Put away items with accurate locations and labeling.
• Assist in packing parts when needed.
• Meet daily quota and safety standards.

We are currently seeking PIT Operators to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for moving inventory by doing picking, consolidations, and put-away.

Cherry pickers and reach truck operators are one of the most important positions for serving our customers' needs. You’ll be key to driving our success!

What You'll Do

• Properly operate Lift Trucks – Stock/Cherry Pickers.
• Complete Order Picker checklist and ensure pallet is on forks before lifting.
• Ensure battery level is not below 25%.
• Ensure safety harness and lanyard are in good condition.
• Safely pick up pallets from staging locations.
• Put away items and document their locations with accuracy.
• Practice safe material handling.
• Count pieces that put away and compare with scanner.
• Ensure the items put away match with current stock.
• Make sure that each item has a label.
• Assist in packing parts when needed.
• Put away old LP’s before newer ones, unless otherwise instructed.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area at the end of the day.
• Meet the expected quota.
• Perform other work‑related tasks as assigned.
• Shift: Thu‑Fri‑Sat 5:00am to 5:30pm

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly.
