Job summary

Staffmark Group in Newark, NJ is hiring a Cherry Picker Operator to join our warehouse team. The role requires operating a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, store, and organize boxed records in high-rack locations, with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will scan inventory with handheld RF scanners, build pallets for storage and shipment, and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Pay is $19.50 per hour, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a cherry picker forklift is required.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment is required.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, store, and organize boxed records in high-rack warehouse locations.
• Scan inventory using handheld RF scanners to ensure accurate tracking.
• Build, wrap, and prepare pallets for storage and shipment.
• Move and organize document storage boxes throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with document shredding operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
