Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in Ohio.
• Licensed as an RN in Ohio.
• Completes 24 contact hours CE every 2 years per Ohio BON.
• Maintains BLS and obtains ACLS; chemo/biotherapy provider within 6 months if chemo nurse.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver patient care.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate data collection for direct and indirect care.
• Document care on hospital forms within required timeframes.
• Provide patient/significant other education and written materials.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement initiatives.
• Fulfill professional practice responsibilities and ongoing development.
