Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Chemistry Technician II for our Marietta, GA lab. The role supports chemists in analyses and sample prep, with some routine testing and data interpretation. This is a 3-month contract position with potential to convert to full-time based on performance.

The candidate will follow lab processes, assist in tests, and contribute to data collection and inventory updates in a GMP/GLP environment.

Qualifications

• High School or AA in Science with 2+ years in a material testing lab, or a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
• Technical acumen with analytical chemistry testing preferred.
• Experience following GLP and ISO lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests.
• Follow lab processes and test specifications; perform moderately complex tests.
• Identify equipment/maintenance issues and troubleshoot problems.
• Engage with other teams as needed.
• Use tools/systems to track work and record information.
• Gather and interpret data with guidance from others.
• Operate equipment as needed and perform maintenance.
• Update chemical and equipment inventories.
• Operate independently to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
