Qualifications

• High School or AA in Science with 2+ years in a material testing lab, or a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
• Technical acumen with analytical chemistry testing preferred.
• Experience following GLP and ISO lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests.
• Follow lab processes and test specifications; perform moderately complex tests.
• Identify equipment/maintenance issues and troubleshoot problems.
• Engage with other teams as needed.
• Use tools/systems to track work and record information.

The primary responsibilities of the Chemistry Technician II are assisting the chemists and senior chemists in conducting analyses and sample preparation. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation.***\\*\\*\\*\\*This is a 3-month contract position based in Marietta, GA.
