Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX invites applications for an Instructional Assistant Professor of Chemistry. This is a non-tenure track, 9-month, full-time faculty position starting Fall 2027. The primary duties include teaching introductory and upper-level chemistry courses and contributing to the department, college, and university service.

The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related discipline; ABDs will be considered but must have degree conferred

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related discipline required.
• ABD candidates will be considered but degree must be conferred before start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and upper-level chemistry courses.
• Engage in departmental and university service as needed.
