Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Chemistry Supervisor to build and lead the analytical and quality control laboratories at Chrysalis, our radioisotope production facility under construction in Janesville, Wisconsin. You will hire and develop the team, set department policies, and own the chemical results that support facility operations.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will establish procedures, ensure a strong safety culture, mentor chemists, and partner with QA to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial or radiochemistry laboratory environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Technical understanding of nuclear facility technology and operations.
• Strong communication, conflict and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safe work environment and safety culture across the chemistry labs.
• Develop, establish, and implement department policies and procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytical chemists, owning results.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure activities are completed accurately.
• Determine staffing needs, interview, hire, and train new team members.
• Develop and manage the chemistry department budget.
