Job summary

EMD Electronics in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Research Technician to join the Small Volume Manufacturing team. The role supports small-scale manufacturing processes and partners with R&D, M4Ward, QC and Engineering to scale production from lab to high volume as needed.

Key qualifications include 1+ years handling chemicals and a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate Degree in chemistry or related science is preferred. Familiarity with SAP and LIMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience handling chemicals or chemical containers.
• Strong understanding of lab safety and good documentation practices.
• Experience with basic analytical and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Chemical purification and sampling.
• Chemical packaging and vessel cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and efficient lab environment.
• Maintain a current chemical inventory.
• Equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Collaborate with R&D, QC and Engineering teams.
