Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Chemical Technician for a 6-month on-site assignment in Carlsbad, CA 92010. The role focuses on filling bottles, labeling, assembling fixtures, and packaging chemistry kits while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, chemical handling experience, and knowledge of SDS/MSDS documentation. This is an onsite role with 1st shift hours and pay of $24–$26 per hour to start.

Job description

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Chemical Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Carlsbad, CA 92010. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details

• Pay: $24-$26/hr to Start!!
• 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday - Friday 1st shift (flexible start time between 5am to 8:30am)
• Position will be mainly responsible for safely filling bottles, labeling boxes and bottles, assembling fixtures, and packaging chemistry kits.
• Position will also be responsible for following written production procedures, completing required documentation, and cleaning, sanitizing, assembling, and disassembling equipment.
• This is a 100% onsite position in Carlsbad, CA.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree or certification in Chemistry or a related discipline is Preferred!
• Previous experience safely handling chemicals is Required!
• Knowledge of chemical safety practices, including SDS or MSDS documentation is Required!
• Experience with packaging, filling, labeling, or kitting boxes, bottles, or vials is Required!
• Experience following written procedures and standard operating procedures in a production or manufacturing environment is Required!
• Basic mathematical skills and strong attention to detail are Required!
• Chemical batch-processing experience is Preferred!
• Experience working under GLP or cGMP requirements is Preferred!
