Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Chemistry Technician for a contract role in the Nashua, NH area. You will perform physical, chemical, and performance testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, and support startup trials and process improvements.

The requirements include a BS in Chemistry or related field with at least 3 months of lab experience (co-ops/internships count). The shift is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with duties documented in lab notebooks and instrument care.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry or related field required.
• Minimum 3 months lab experience; co-ops/internships count.
• Comfort with lab environments and basic lab safety.
• Experience with lab instruments (pH meters, DSC, IR, GC, titration).
• Proficiency in math and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and performance testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Evaluate new raw materials for performance, cost, availability, and sustainability.
• Support startup trials, process improvements, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist senior staff during customer visits and field evaluations.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks documenting objectives, observations, results and conclusions.
• Scale formulations from development through pilot and production trials.
