Job summary

Vibrantz Technologies Inc. in New Johnsonville, TN seeks a Lab Technician II to prepare, analyze, and report laboratory results supporting manufacturing operations, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses on materials using approved procedures while maintaining equipment and documentation. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and effective communication, with overtime and varied shifts as business needs require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year laboratory experience, or 5 years manufacturing lab experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow procedures precisely.
• Good organization and time management to handle multiple priorities in a lab environment.
• Willingness to work overtime or alternate schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, waste materials, and special samples using approved methods and ensure accurate, timely results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, reagents, standards, and solutions to support ongoing testing activities and operational readiness.
• Develop, maintain, and update laboratory standard operating procedures and recommend improvements to sampling, testing, and material-handling methods.
• Support production testing activities, including operator training and in-process laboratory requirements, while ensuring alignment with quality and environmental management systems.
• Maintain laboratory safety documentation, including SDS records, and perform all work in accordance with the Chemical Hygiene Plan and established safety practices.
