Job summary

Vibrantz Technologies in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform laboratory testing on materials to support quality and manufacturing operations.

The role requires handling chemical, rheological, physical, electrical, and thermal tests, maintaining equipment, and assisting with process engineering and R&D efforts. Attention to detail and SOP adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with exposure to algebra and chemistry.
• Laboratory testing experience or coursework in physical sciences.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs, testing methods, and established laboratory protocols accurately.
• Ability to perform percentage calculations and basic mathematical functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process intermediates, and finished products, including preliminary and multi-step chemical, rheological, physical, electrical, and thermal testing.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and execute testing using established laboratory methods, procedures, and instrumentation to evaluate product and material quality.
• Document, communicate, and enter test results and non-conformances accurately in quality systems to support quality records and Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, support 5S and laboratory organization, and follow established testing and laboratory procedures.
• Support quality improvement projects, technical services, process engineering, and R&D initiatives, and assist with onboarding and training of laboratory personnel as needed.
