Cambium Biomaterials, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Technician to join our resin development team.

You’ll work closely with scientists and engineers on research and testing activities, performing hands-on lab tasks and contributing to the full cycle from analysis to reporting. This role provides training and mentorship as Cambium grows, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and meticulous record-keeping.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3–5 years of experience working in a chemistry laboratory or formulation setting.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices.
• Strong desire to learn and willingness to work hands-on.
• Detail oriented, meticulous and patient with tasks.

Mansioni

• Perform lab analysis and tests on chemicals used in wet lab areas.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and operate instruments (HPLC, pH/KF, NMR, FTIR).
• Accurately report chemical analyses to scientists and engineers.
• Weigh and mix ingredients for chemical reactions and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure safety, clean up, and proper disposal of chemicals and waste.
