Job summary

Bucknell University’s Department of Chemistry is seeking a Chemistry Supplies Coordinator to manage procurement, stockroom operations, and safety compliance for the on-campus laboratory environment.

You will research and purchase items, track expenditures, schedule maintenance, and supervise student workers while coordinating with EHS and instructors to ensure safe disposal of chemical waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Experience with stockroom/inventory management preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and waste disposal practices.

Responsibilities

• Researches and purchases items for the department and coordinates receipt of inventories.
• Schedules preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment.
• Monitors stockroom and chemical inventories and maintains detailed records.
• Supervises student workers and coordinates with EHS and instructors.
