Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking a chemistry-focused intern to assist TS&D chemists in completing research projects and lab duties in Milwaukee. The role offers hands-on project experience and opportunities for future full-time roles after graduation.

The internship runs full-time from May/June through August 2027, with safety training, team collaboration, and exposure to real business impact. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Chemistry degree and possess strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Chemistry degree (Junior or Senior).
• Completion of Analytic/Physical/Core Chemistry courses with labs.
• Strong laboratory analytical skills required.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge.
• Able to apply advanced math and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality laboratory facilities and support internal/external customers.
• Prepare samples for Distribution, FP, Water Treatment, and Foam Control.
• Practice safe laboratory techniques and follow SOPs.
• Assist chemists with lab requests and projects.
• Ship small quantities of hazardous materials.
• Follow changes with supervisor and stay RCRA compliant.
