Job summary

Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking a full-time, 9-month Chemistry Instructor to teach chemistry courses for A.S. and A.A.S. degree programs beginning Fall 2027.

The role includes curriculum development, outcomes assessment, committee work, program promotion, distance learning, and community outreach. Required: Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in chemistry and teaching experience at the secondary or college level.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in chemistry or closely related discipline.
• Successful teaching experience at the secondary or college level or equivalent professional experience.
• Criminal history background check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach chemistry courses to undergraduate students in A.S. and A.A.S. programs.
• Develop curriculum and deliver instruction, assess outcomes.
• Participate in institutional committees, program promotion, and distance delivery of coursework.
• Engage in community service and outreach related to the department.
