Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a chemist/biochemist to provide analysis and oversight of standard chemistry/biochemistry practices, testing, and documentation. The role emphasizes interpreting results, maintaining QA, and supporting cross-functional projects within a lab and office setting.

The candidate will work with SOPs, instrumentation, and data management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or closely related field.
• Fundamental principles and techniques of chemistry/biochemistry.
• Ability to resolve chemistry/biochemistry problems and apply applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials using analytical instrumentation.
• Reviews, analyzes, and documents testing results.
• Oversees or reviews standard chemistry/biochemistry forms, documents and data.
• Interprets and counsels staff and leadership on chemistry/biochemistry policies and practices.
• Maintains equipment, prepares and calibrates samples and related areas.
• Promotes quality assurance and adherence to SOPs and regulations.
