Employee Workplace in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Chemist to support day-to-day laboratory operations for a chemical R&D organization. The role focuses on keeping samples, analytical information, and data systems organized and accurate.

The position is a 6-month contract with potential extension, starting in October 2026, with pay of $35–$40 per hour. You will coordinate data, review results, maintain records, and work with LIMS and MS Office to support quality and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or related field.
• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Understanding of analytical data and laboratory quality practices.
• Experience with LIMS or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Chemical, petrochemical, or industrial laboratory experience preferred.
