Job Overview

Position: Chemist II - Quality Control

We are looking for a Chemist II to perform laboratory testing in a fast-paced cGMP environment. Experience with capillary electrophoresis testing is required.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct test method validations for clinical and commercial projects.
2. Maintain a safe work environment following procedural requirements.
3. Implement and uphold cGMP standards in laboratory records, procedures, and systems.
4. Perform various laboratory techniques as trained.
5. Complete assigned tasks within deadlines and collaborate with team members.
6. Author validation protocols, reports, and test methods.
7. Support laboratory investigations promptly.
8. Support testing techniques upon training completion.

Requirements

1. BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or related field with 2+ years of experience.
2. Experience with CE-SDS, HPLC, or ELISA, including troubleshooting.
3. Familiarity with Empower or Softmax / PLA software.
4. Experience with spectrophotometric concentration determination.
5. Experience with QC testing of phase III and commercial products.
6. Knowledge of empower audit trails.
