Location: Chattanooga, TN 37406. 12–month contract. 7:30 AM to 4 PM shift. Pay range $22 to $25/hr.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)

Strong hands‑on laboratory skills with attention to detail and documentation
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Responsibilities
Conduct application and performance testing of polymer dispersions, customer products, and coated films
Perform routine analytical and physical characterization (viscosity, rheology, particle size, pH, surface tension, film testing)
Document, analyze, and summarize test results for technical service and product evaluations
Support products entering the commercialization phase of development
Maintain compliance with EH&S, Responsible Care, ISO, and laboratory SOPs
Verify instrument calibrations and support routine equipment maintenance
