Job summary

Renegade Brands USA, Inc. is seeking a Chemist to join our Solon, OH laboratory. You will perform bench‑level formulation work and run trials under the Head of Technology, documenting findings for the team.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry and 1–3 years in a lab. Detergent experience is a plus. You will contribute to product development, quality data, and regulatory paperwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry is required or preferred.
• Hands-on lab experience and ability to follow SOPs.
• Strong documentation and data-recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve laundry detergent formulations at the bench under guidance.
• Run performance and stability trials and record results accurately.
• Write outcome reports and present to the technical team.
• Maintain laboratory order, equipment, stock and documentation.
• Gather Safety Data Sheets and support labeling/certification paperwork.
• Collaborate with suppliers and toll blenders on materials and batches.
• Support sales with technical answers and basic comparisons.

Job description

Renegade Brands USA, Inc. develops high-performance, sustainable laundry detergents for the sports and commercial laundry markets. We are looking for a Chemist to join our laboratory.

You will work at the bench under the direction of the Head of Technology, supporting the development of new laundry products and improving existing ones — formulating, running trials, and documenting the findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve laundry detergent formulations at the bench, under the guidance of the Head of Technology
• Run performance and stability trials under standard protocols, timely & accurately record results
• Write outcome reports and present them to the technical team
• Help keep the laboratory in order — equipment, chemical stock and documentation
• Gather Safety Data Sheets, support product labeling and certification paperwork
• Work with suppliers and toll blenders on materials, samples and production batches
• Support our sales team with technical answers and basic competitor comparisons

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry

Experience

One to three years in a laboratory. Detergent or consumer-products experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Hands-On and Rigorous

You work most of the time at the bench, following SOP and Best Practices, and writing down what you did and what you found.
