Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Candidates with 2+ years of chemical operations experience may be considered if education or service requirements are not fully met.
• Able to pass forklift certification exam and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Able to learn and operate technology-based devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts (with certification) to transport product in the warehouse and maintain daily forklift checklist.
• Repackage product into proper containers for storage or shipment with proper labeling and storage per requirements.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records; record product quantities in computer systems.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations.
