Job summary

Kelly Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Material Handler & Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations at a chemical manufacturing facility. You will safely receive, move, store, stage, and track raw materials, hazardous materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

The role requires 5+ years in material handling, forklift experience, SAP or similar systems, and the ability to work a 1st/2nd shift schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of warehouse, material handling, inventory or logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience; training provided if not certified at hire.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory-management systems and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, store, move, and stage materials.
• Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation.
• Operate sit-down forklift warehouse equipment and deliver materials to production areas.
• Support shipping, receiving, and finished-goods staging and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, labels, and storage locations; ensure traceability.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and follow safety, PPE, and chemical-handling requirements.
• Maintain clean, audit‑ready warehouse and storage areas; support Lean/5S initiatives.
• Communicate with Warehouse, Production, Quality, Shipping, and Supply Chain teams.
