Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is recruiting a Chemical Warehouse Clerk for a contract position in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on daily logistics, receiving inbound deliveries, labeling, stocking, and order processing with FEFO rules.

Forklift operation and inventory control are essential, with Oracle and FabNet familiarity desirable. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year experience in chemicals or compressed gases, and be able to obtain forklift and hazardous materials certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in chemicals or compressed gases preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with Oracle Inventory and FabNet is a plus.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and Google Docs tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute materials into inventory.
• Label, store, and pick materials following FEFO rules.
• Process orders and manage returns (RMA).
• Maintain Oracle Inventory records and use reporting tools.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and ensure safety.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and resolve issues.
• Support waste reduction and site 5S program.
• Backup distribution tasks and perform dip-tube exchanges.
