Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, label, store, and distribute materials and shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in Oracle Inventory system.
• Process inbound orders, deliveries, and RMAs.
• Support site 5S, waste reduction and recycling programs.
• Move CO2 cryogenic tanks (300–500 lbs) around the warehouse.

Job Summary

The Chemical Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, verifying, labeling, storing, and distributing materials and shipments. The role maintains accurate inventory records using Oracle Inventory, operates forklifts and other powered industrial equipment, and handles CO2 cryogenic tanks and compressed gas materials safely. The ideal candidate has warehouse, shipping and receiving, and forklift experience, with chemical or compressed gas handling experience preferred.

Job Description

• Work safely and adhere to all established safety guidelines and cleanup procedures for spills
• Perform receiving and distribution of materials and components into and out of inventory
• Process inbound orders, deliveries, and return-to-vendor (RMA) items
• Maintain inventory accuracy within Oracle Inventory systems and communicate issues promptly
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely (e.g., forklifts)
• Support site 5S initiatives, waste reduction, and recycling programs
• Proactively identify process efficiencies and support new business tools and methods
• Will move CO2 cryogenic tanks around the warehouse and palletize them. Tanks weigh approximately 300–500 lbs
  

Skills Required

• 1+ years of experience in the chemicals or compressed gases field
• Experience working with the FedEx website is a plus
• Experience creating a Bill of Lading (BOL) is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Valid Forklift Certification
• Able to lift boxes over 50 lbs.
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility available) or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, etc.

Pay Rate/Salary

• $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
