Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Chemical Unloader at our Temple, TX manufacturing plant.

This position is responsible for unloading, maintaining, and mixing chemicals used in the pouring operation using the proper equipment provided in an efficient, safe, and productive manner Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills are required.
• Must obtain a Carpenter Company Forklift Certification.
• Must be able to read Certificates of Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Unloads railcars and tank trucks as required.
• Operates forklift safely and as trained.
• Mixes chemicals per daily pouring schedule.
• Opens/closes tank farms and valves.
• Monitors and assists with pouring start-ups.
