Job summary

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, following procedures to maintain continuous operations.
  • Document activities and incidents, ensuring clear communication with supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in process-improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

As a Chemical Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring smooth operation of production equipment and chemical processes within the aluminum can manufacturing environment.

Our crews work 12‑hour shifts (6am‑6pm / 6pm‑6am) on a rotating 2‑3‑2 schedule, with shifts rotating every four weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Handle day‑to‑day operations, monitor chemical processes, and maintain equipment to support efficient and safe production.
  • Operate production machinery and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and control chemical processes to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations, handling chemicals and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct quality checks and implement improvements to maintain high standards in product output.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, following established procedures to maintain continuous operations.
