Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to oversee the safe receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of raw chemical materials at our chemical blending plant. The hourly role includes verifying deliveries, preparing documentation, operating forklifts, and maintaining SAP records in line with EHS and DOT rules.

Responsibilities include inventory counting, discrepancy resolution, proper labeling, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely, compliant shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in chemical manufacturing warehouse with hazardous materials.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of shipments.
• Prepare shipping documentation, work orders, bills of lading, and route materials.
• Record shipment data and communicate with carriers to resolve discrepancies.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage for safe transport.
• Receive, count, store, and maintain inventory stock in designated areas.
• Verify inventory counts in SAP and correct discrepancies.
• Deliver materials to departments using forklifts or manual equipment.
• Maintain shipping materials and storage areas per safety standards.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and DOT policies.
