Job summary

Veolia Group in the United States seeks a Shipper/Receiver for our chemical blending plant. This hourly role verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares documentation, and maintains inventory records in SAP while strictly following Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include packing and labeling for safe transport, coordinating with carriers, and operating forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a chemical manufacturing warehouse with hazardous materials.
• Preferred: Associate degree and 2 years of hazardous materials experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against manifests, invoices, and orders.
• Prepare shipping docs, bills of lading, and route materials.
• Record shipment data and communicate with carriers to resolve discrepancies.
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for transport.
• Receive, count, store, and maintain inventory in designated locations.
• Verify inventory against counts and correct SAP records.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe storage areas in compliance with EHS and DOT.
