Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse/shipping/receiving/inventory experience required.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred or able to obtain.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and data entry.
• SAP experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and internal personnel.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in chemical, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or laboratory environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, log, and process incoming chemical samples.
• Safely handle chemical samples and products following PPE requirements.
• Prepare, package, and ship samples to customers and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of samples, shipments, inventory, and related docs.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move chemicals and materials.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including inspection and storage.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and maintain shipping docs.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to track inventory and enter data.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
• Respond to emails, calls, and inquiries promptly.
• Interact with domestic and international customers professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control.
• Maintain sample room and warehouse organization.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement.
• Support additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
