Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN offers a full-time summer internship in its Research and Development organization. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists on a novel molecule design, synthesis, or scale-up project.

You will participate in all phases of research from planning to data analysis, learn techniques such as NMR, IR, GC/MS, LC/MS, TLC, and demonstrate safe laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Chemistry.
• Completed one full year of undergraduate organic chemistry with lab.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the internship duration.
• Must work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks May–August.

Responsibilities

• Assist in novel molecule design, synthesis, or scale-up projects in chemical synthesis groups.
• Participate in all research phases from planning to evaluation and analysis.
• Work safely and uphold Corteva's safety culture.
• Present project reviews and a final poster to colleagues and peers.
