Job summary

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Chemical Operator to join our GMP production team. This role reports to the Plant Manager and contributes to safe, compliant manufacturing.

You will receive materials, prepare for production, operate and clean equipment, perform SAP transactions, and package final products while completing GMP documentation and general housekeeping. Requires high school diploma, rotating shifts, ability to lift 55 lbs, and good interpersonal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, holidays and overtime; rotating shift.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must possess a high level of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to clearly record observations in a written form.
• Ability to follow and complete written directions.
• Need to be able to work around strong magnets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines.
• Receive materials into the limited access warehouse (LAW) per procedures.
• Prepare for production, raw material, staging and weighing.
• Operate and clean manufacturing equipment per work instruction.
• Perform SAP transactions.
• Package final product and prepare shipments.
• GMP documentation.
• General housekeeping in the GMP production area.
