Job summary

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Chemical Operator to support the Specialty Ingredients G.P Business. The role reports to the Plant Manager and involves handling materials, production prep, equipment operation, and GMP documentation.

Responsibilities include receiving materials, weighing, set‑up and cleaning of equipment, performing SAP entries, packaging, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in a GMP setting. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis.
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to clearly record observations in written form.
• Ability to follow and complete written directions.
• Ability to work around strong magnets.
