Job summary

RAMPF Group Inc. is seeking a chemical production operator to maintain heavy machines and support chemical processing. You will handle chemicals safely, observe the mixing process, and assist with procedures to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing quality inspections, recording data, stocking materials, and ensuring 5S discipline in the production area. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to understand and use measuring devices accurately.
• Forklift operations experience or training may be required.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and mix batches according to manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain production equipment following documented procedures.
• Conduct daily quality inspections and record measurements.
• Package materials according to SOPs.
• Restock raw materials as per SAP work instructions.
• Store, retrieve, and monitor chemicals used in production.
• Record information such as ingredients, weight, and temperature.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
• Report accidents, safety violations, or concerns to supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to complete production tasks.
• Perform 5S daily housekeeping in the chemical production area.

Position Overview

A chemical production operator is responsible for maintaining heavy machines and equipment for chemical processing operations. They carefully handle chemicals, observe the mixing process, and support process development by assisting on strategic procedures to maximize productivity and plan initiatives. A chemical production operator must adhere to the safety protocols of the production, especially on storing chemicals, recording information to the database, and operating machines.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

• Operating machines and mixing batches according to manufacturing instructions
• Maintenance of production equipment according to procedures
• Conduct daily quality inspections including measurements/data recording
• Package material accordingly
• Restock raw material properly per SAP work instructions
• Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process.
• Record information, such as ingredients, weight and temperature
• Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes
• Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns
• Work with other team members to complete production process
• Perform 5S Daily housekeeping of the chemical production area
• Performs other duties as assigned
