Job summary

Capital Resin Corporation in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Engineering Department. Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, you will support overall engineering, design, and safe operations of production systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, improving reliability, maintaining PSM docs, and collaborating with quality, R&D, and maintenance teams to optimize processes and implement new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years chemical plant engineering experience is preferred.
• PSM experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide production engineering support for assigned process systems.
• Identify cost reduction and reliability opportunities.
• Support quality and R&D teams with data analysis and audits.
• Maintain PSM documentation for processes.
• Collaborate with contractors and maintenance for repairs and upgrades.
• Assist in development of new products and process improvements.
