Qualifications

Associate degree in Process Technology or equivalent experience.
Strong math and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with distillation and reaction processes; knowledge of OSHA/EPA regs.
Ability to work rotating shifts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Starts, operates and stops machinery according to standards.
Implements corrective actions during out-of-control situations.
Operates analytical equipment per methods and specifications.
Gathers and records process data from instrumentation.
Maintains equipment and company property to spec.
Supports receiving/shipment/inventory activities.
Assists contractors and maintenance crews on site.
Isolates equipment as required (pumps, vessels, lines).
Monitors QA equipment and ensures product quality.
Ensures safe and environmentally compliant operation and adherence to procedures.
Seeks ways to improve plant performance and meet customer needs.
