Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort around large automated machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to work 24/7/365 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Can Washer (pre-treatment) equipment, including temperature controls and conveyor systems.
• Monitor chemical concentrations and perform titrations and pH checks.
• Replenish chemical additives to maintain bath specifications.
• Ensure proper flow of cans through washer and dry-off oven; clear jams as needed.
• Perform in-process quality checks (water break tests, adhesion tests).
• Assist Wastewater Specialist with routine monitoring and sampling of the wastewater treatment system.
• Clean and perform basic preventive maintenance on washer equipment.
• Follow safety protocols (LOTO, chemical handling) and document test results and parameters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in continuous improvement.
