Job summary

KLA Industries seeks a Process / Production Engineer to support plant unit operations and drive continuous improvements in our chemical manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot batch and continuous processes, perform mass balances, and lead safety, reliability, and productivity initiatives while collaborating with operations teams.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical Engineering with 3+ years as Process/Production Engineer in PSM plants.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, CI, PHA, MOC, and P&IDs.
• Familiar with unit operations and controls: reactors, distillation, polymerization, esterification, filtration, dryers, twin-screw extrusion, heat treatment.
• US work authorization without sponsorship (now or in the future).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily production support for batch and continuous chemical operations.
• Track yields and perform mass balances.
• Lead process improvement projects and safety, reliability, and productivity initiatives.
• Support downtime, runtime, planning, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
• Participate in PSM audits and change management (MOC, PSSR, P&ID, hazard reviews, SOPs).
• Lead incident investigations and training of operations teams.
