The role covers production troubleshooting, yields tracking, process startups, and leading incident investigations, with collaboration across operations and maintenance in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical Engineering required with 3+ years experience as Process/Production Engineer/Leader in PSM chemical plants.
• Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Familiarity with unit operations and controls (reactors, distillation, polymerization, esterification, filtration, dryers).
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production operations and troubleshoot process/equipment issues.
• Track production yields and perform mass balances.
• Lead process improvement projects and drive safety, productivity, quality and cost improvements.
• Support process downtime, planning, packaging, and material flow.
• Participate in PSM initiatives and audits and lead incident investigations.
