Job summary

Vantage Specialty Chemicals seeks a Production Operation Technician to operate chemical processes safely in a manufacturing environment in Illinois. The role requires handling materials, performing warehouse tasks, and maintaining strict safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities include forklift and Trackmobile operations, loading/unloading materials, documenting activities, and contributing to process improvements while participating in mandatory safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience in an industrial facility preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processes safely and in accordance with SOPs.
• Maintain a safe operational environment and enforce rules.
• Attend mandatory safety training and audits.
• Perform warehouse duties including hand-palletizing and loading trucks.
• Load/unload materials, sample as required, and document accordingly.
• Communicate status and keep log sheets up to date.
