Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Chemical Operator to support the manufacturing and processing of resins and formaldehyde. You will ensure compliance with HSE regulations, monitor processes, and collaborate with the control operator to meet production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in chemical mixing, forklift experience or willingness to certify, and the ability to rotate shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in chemical mixing.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Able to drive Tractor/Tanker unit or willingness to learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset needed for success.
• Previous chemical/processing experience required.
• Must accept rotating shifts (days/nights/evenings weekly) and every 3rd weekend.
• Must follow strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear PPE.
• Able to sit, stand, walk and climb in elevated areas.
• Lift ~50 lbs regularly.
• Basic computer skills required; DCS experience a plus; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures chemical and performs monitoring and testing per procedures and HSE regulations.
• Unload and load raw materials and finished products per procedures.
• Follow all site Health, Safety and Environment rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with process control operator to safely meet production schedules across processes.
