Job summary

Bostik in Axis, Alabama, is seeking a Chemical Operator to run production using diverse technologies at the Mobile plant. You will follow recipes, monitor processes, pull QC samples, operate a DCS, and ensure safe, compliant operations while accurately reporting data.

You must have a high school diploma, at least three years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with SAP/ERP. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving are essential to reduce downtime and maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years work experience in manufacturing preferred.
• ERP (SAP) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field duties to ensure proper production.
• Follow recipes, processes and procedures to produce product.
• Pull samples for QC testing and act on results.
• Understand and may use DCS to control production process.
• Control equipment and troubleshoot problems in the work area.
• Walk the line to prevent spills and move materials using forklift.
• Package and label finished/intermediate goods accurately.
• Complete cleaning procedures as directed and report findings.
• Complete all reporting accurately and on time.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
