Job summary

Arkema Inc. is seeking a Chemical Operator for our Mobile, AL manufacturing site to run production using multiple technologies and follow strict safety procedures.

You will troubleshoot process issues, sample in QC, and report data accurately as part of a collaborative team. You’ll operate equipment, use DCS systems, move materials with forklift, and ensure products are labeled and shipped on time while adhering to HES policies and site guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• ERP (SAP) experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and procedures to safely produce products.
• Pull samples for QC testing and interpret results.
• Understand and may use DCS to control the production process.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve line issues.
• Move materials with forklift and label finished goods.
• Complete cleaning procedures and paperwork accurately and timely.
• Adhere to HES policies and site procedures.
